Speaking & Media

Talks on navigating uncertainty, AI, and the designed life.

Available for keynotes, panels, podcasts, and workshops. Chris brings the same diagnostic listening to a stage that he brings to a breakfast table — substance over performance, recognition over motivation.

What I speak about.

WILD Intelligence: The Human Capacity AI Can't Replace

Keynote · Business & Leadership Audiences

The four capacities that determine whether AI amplifies your best thinking or replaces it. Not a technology talk — a human development talk for the AI age. Draws from philosophy, neuroscience, and twenty years of navigating without maps.

What AI Agents Do, Designers Invented in 1963

Keynote · Innovation & Technology Audiences

Every powerful AI practice — from multi-agent research to iterative optimization — traces to established creativity and design thinking methodology from the last sixty years. The AI community is rediscovering what humans already knew. This talk names the connection.

Designing a Life, Not Planning a Business

Panel · Entrepreneurship & Lifestyle Audiences

The story of building Colorado's top-rated inn, selling two businesses, and designing a life at 10,000 feet. Not a success story — a navigation story. The distinction matters because it's the same one every audience member is facing.

Developing WILD Intelligence in Young People

Workshop · Education & Parenting Audiences

What human capacities must we deliberately cultivate in young people, precisely because AI can now handle everything else? A practical framework for educators and parents navigating the most significant shift in what education means since the printing press.
